Naveen Chandra, who is known for his intense roles is presently doing a political-cop film named ‘Mission 2020’. The film’s first look was out yesterday.
Helmed by Karanam Babji of ‘Mental Police’ and ‘Operation 2019’ fame, the film is based on the political circumstances happened in CM Nitish Kumar’s ruling in Bihar.
Interestingly, the director-writer Babji had welcomed Srikanth for the launch of the first look release ceremony as he shares a good bonding with him. Speaking on the event, Srikanth stated, “My past coordinated efforts with Babji garu brought about hits. ‘Operation 2019’. I congratulate Naveen Chandra and team for doing such a nice film. It turns out into a hit in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic”, he added.
Babji then adulated Naga Babu and Jayaprakash for their stellar performances in ‘Mission 2020’. “They have nailed it. We began the shoot in January and wrapped it by March. Naveen Chandra is a committed entertainer. I’m so happy. I also appreciate Sri Rapaka of Naked fame for her dedication, who is doing an item song. I’m so happy,” he said.
Cinematography is by Venkat Prasad, while editing provided by SB Uddhav. The film is produced by Venkatesh and Ramesh Raju under Honey Bunny creations and Madhu Mrudhu Entertainments.
Rap Rock Shakeel’s is providing the music score. Srikanth and Babji wished him for a break as he has been associated consistently for three of his films.
