As we had reported earlier, Bellamkonda Srinivas will be playing the male lead in the Telugu remake of Tamil superstar Dhanush’s recent outing Karnan.

The makers are currently zeroing in on the principle cast and crew for the project.

As per reports, the makers of the highly exciting remake are holding talks with Srikanth Addala now. They opine that Srikanth would have a better grip and idea of handling a remake as he is presently working on the Telugu remake of Asuran, Narappa, starring Venkatesh. So, they want to rope him in for Karnan remake as well.

Srikanth is yet to give his nod to the project though. He will take the final call after completing Narappa.

Crazy how a sensible filmmaker like Srikanth Addala has emerged as the go-to choice for remakes of hard-hitting and rustic films.
