Director Mohanakrishna Indraganti and Sridevi Movies have had a healthy creative relationship, thanks to Nani’s ‘Gentleman’ and Sudheer Babu’s ‘Sammohanam’. This time, the filmmaker and the noted banner owned by producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad are up for a sensible comedy entertainer that brings back the vintage comedy style of Jandhyala.
The film went on the floors today (March 25) and it will hit the screens later this year. Priyadarshi is the lead actor, Roopa Koduvayur is its heroine.
A roster of acclaimed artists and technicians are on board to add weight to the project. From artists like VK Naresh, Vennela Kishore, Harsha Chemudu, Tanikella Bharani and Sivannarayana, to technicians like music director Vivek Sagar, DoP PG Vinda and editor Marthand K Venkatesh, a worthy team has been mobilized for the film.
Speaking at today’s Muhurtham event, producer Krishna Prasad said, “We are going to give the audience a solid entertainment laced with emotions. The film will be like Jandhyala garu’s film made for today’s times.”
