Sree Vishnu, the actor loved for his unique story choices and natural comedy timing, is back with another exciting project. His new film is titled Comrade Kalyan. The movie is directed by Janakiram Marella and presented by popular filmmaker Kona Venkat. Venkata Krishna Karnati and Seetha Karnati are producing it under Skanda Vahana Motion Pictures LLP.
The makers released the title glimpse, which grabbed everyone’s attention. The story is set in 1992 at Madugula village on the Andhra–Odisha border. The promo begins with a radio announcement about the Naxalite threat. Police and Greyhounds are searching for a strong Naxalite leader named Comrade Kalyan. In a fun twist, the wanted poster with a reward of ₹5 lakh is pasted by none other than Comrade Kalyan himself. The promo ends with the powerful entry of Sree Vishnu as Comrade Kalyan.
Though the plot looks serious, the film is filled with comedy, romance, and action. Comrade Kalyan promises to be a perfect action-comedy entertainer with humour, romance, police chases, and political drama.
Sree Vishnu will be seen in dual roles. His look as Comrade Kalyan is already making fans curious. Mahima Nambiar plays the heroine. Radhika Sarathkumar, Shine Tom Chacko, and Upendra Limaye will be seen in important roles.
Sai Sriram is handling the cinematography, while Vijay Bulganin is composing the music. Chota K Prasad is the editor. The shoot is going on at a fast pace, and the team has already completed half of the film.
With an exciting story, strong visuals, and entertainment factor, Comrade Kalyan is shaping up to be a must-watch for Telugu cinema fans.
