Director Chaitanya Dantuluri, who is known for helming movies like Baanam and Basanti, is now coming up with his third directorial titled Bhala Thandanana. The action thriller movie features Sree Vishnu and Catherine Tresa in the lead roles. Set to release on May 6, the makers of the film organised a grand pre-release event in Hyderabad on May 3.
Top director SS Rajamouli, who graced the event as a chief guest, showered praises on hero Sree Vishnu. “I watched Baanam movie. Even though it is a small film by name, nowhere does Chaitanya make the audience feel like that. Now this movie doesn’t even look like a small movie. He shows that attitude by making small films as big ones,” he said.
“Bhala Thandanana feels so high. The story and the narration are good. Sree Vishnu is like the boy next door. He can transform into a mass role just like the fish can go into the water so easily. He is the only hero, who can transform into any genre so easily. He has a good future. He selected a genre of his own from the subjects he selected. Even now he took a good subject. This movie should be a hit,” the director added.
Catherine plays an investigative journalist while Posani Krishna Murali and Garuda Ram will be seen in other prominent roles in Bhala Thandanana. The crew of the movie also includes top technicians like Manisharma, Marthand K Venkatesh and Srikanth Vissa.
