Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for pushing boundaries with films like Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, and Animal, is set to intensify his signature style in his next project Spirit, starring Prabhas. Despite criticism over his use of intense violence, explicit content, and bold romance, Vanga remains committed to his raw storytelling approach.
According to reports, Spirit will feature heightened levels of action and bold scenes, surpassing the intensity of his earlier works. Prabhas is said to have approved the film’s bold narrative, including graphic fight sequences and daring romantic moments, aligning with an ‘A’ certificate vision.
Initially, Deepika Padukone was considered for the female lead, but she reportedly stepped away due to creative and contractual disagreements. Eventually, Animal actress Tripti Dimri joined the cast, surprising many fans. The film is expected to begin production in the year’s final quarter, with Korean actor Ma Dong Seok likely to play a significant role.
