While Chiranjeevi had his own reasons to attend the prerelease event of Arjun Suravaram, his drumming up support for the film did help get the initial crowds.
However good the story was, the execution failed to hold the people back.
On the other hand, few film personalities like Vivek Atreya, Tarun Bhasckar, Venkatesh Maha, Vishwak Sen have all seen the film and congratulated the team of raja Garu Rani Varu.
Other than that, none of the stars said a good word in support of the film. It was made within a budget of 1.3 crore and by the time it hit the theatres it cost the producers 2.7 crore.
The producers are safe and we have to wait and see if a word spreads that the content is good and is watchable.
The trump card of the film is the fresh cast and crew including the director. Hero Kiran Abbavaram has reportedly okayed two projects and one of them to go on floors first is Kalyana Mandapam, which is the working title.
