IPL is a prestigious event in India. All Indians will be waiting eagerly for the IPL season to begin and the entire nation will follow the updates regularly. Unfortunately, this year’s IPL is getting impacted by the deadly COVID-19.
As the number of cases were increasing day by day, Indian Government asked the respective State Governments to make sure that they take necessary precautions to control the outbreak of Corona Virus. Considering this aspect, the states which were seeing positive cases, were not showing interest to host the IPL matches.
Few people in Maharastra were under quarantine and the state officials were in the thoughts of postponing the matches that were expected to happen in their state. Interestingly the IPL season will be starting this month in Mumbai stadium and 6 more matches will be held in Maharastra. If this state imposes restrictions on BCCI regarding IPL, it will be a big problem for the event organizers. Health vs Entertainment, we have to wait to know what people chooses.
