Sony LIV has released the teaser for its upcoming thriller KanKhajura, a gripping story set in the eerie silence of Goa.
This Hindi adaptation of the acclaimed Israeli series Magpie brings an emotional and intense with Indian sensibilities to the original. The story follows two brothers who must face their darkest past, where memories blur with reality, trapping them in a prison of their own memories.
Roshan Mathew, who played Ashu, shared, it was KanKhajura’s deep emotions and the quiet tension beneath the chaos fascinated him. Ashu is a complex character which is fragile yet holding a storm within.
Produced by Ajay Rai and directed by Chandan Arora, KanKhajura features a talented cast including Mohit Raina, Roshan Mathew, Sarah Jane Dias, Mahesh Shetty, Ninad Kamat, Trinetra Haldar, Heeba Shah, and Usha Nadkarni. The show is adapted under license from yes Studios, originally created by Adam Bizanski, Omri Shenhar, and Dana Eden, and produced by Donna and Shula Productions. KanKhajura is set to premiere on 30th May, only on Sony LIV!
