The heat of Movie Artists Association (MAA) elections is increasing each passing day. This time, the election is revolving around MAA building and the flow of allegations and counter-allegations continues.
Mohan Babu and Naga Babu’s recent comments have become the talk of Tollywood. Sivaji Raja, the actor and former president of MAA, reacted to the comments made on the selling of ‘MAA’ building. He explained that what he bought for the Movie Artists Association was not a bungalow, but a flat.
Sivaji Raja recently told a media channel, “Everyone is talking about buying and selling a bungalow. But, that is not true. It’s just a double bedroom flat. It includes the Directors ‘Association and the Writers’ Association. There are those two associations, Naga Babu may have bought the above flat when he was president. However, I, Secretary Naresh, have been transparent about selling it,” he said.
“We all made the decision in a meeting. We have also set up a committee for that. An advertisement was also given on the paper. When no one came forward, we sold it to a man named Murali. Before anyone wants to talk about the sale of MAA building, they should go to the office and find out the facts,” Sivaji Raja added.
