Cyberabad Police took actor Sivaji into custody, at the Shamshabad international airport. He faced some serious allegations in TV9 issue and regarding this, he was also issued multiple notices in the past asking him to attend the police questioning.
But the actor failed to attend any such questioning and was absconding for quite some time. He also filed a quash petition in the High Court to cancel the cases filed against him. Finally, the police took him into custody now, while he was about to board a U.S. flight. The officials said that they would not arrest the actor, but would give another notice.

There were allegations against Sivaji and TV9 former CEO Ravi Prakash that they hatched a conspiracy to trouble the new management of TV9, which bought 90 percent shares of the company. The police with the support of forensic experts have checked the deleted mails and collected other key evidence, that proved the duo as the culprits. More details are expected to be out through the questioning.
