Sithara Entertainments, known for delivering back-to-back hits, is now partnering with Yash Raj Films (YRF) to bring the much-awaited action movie War 2 to the Telugu audience. After successfully working on Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava and Devara, this marks their third big collaboration, and they are aiming for a hat-trick of blockbusters.
War 2, part of YRF’s famous Spy Universe, is one of the biggest action films of the year. It will hit theatres worldwide on August 14th, and Sithara Entertainments will release it in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. They have bought the theatrical rights for a huge price, showing how confident they are about the film’s success.
Sharing the news, Sithara Entertainments wrote: “Kicking off the GUNS BLAZING for a HATTRICK. We are proud to join hands with Man of Masses @Tarak9999, Greek God @iHrithik and the powerhouse @yrf to bring this explosive ride called #WAR2 across the Telugu States. A festival of celebration awaits at theatres from this 14th August.”
The movie is a high-energy spy thriller and part of India’s most successful film franchise — the YRF Spy Universe — which includes Pathaan, Tiger 3, and the original War. Expectations are sky-high, especially now with a big release planned across Telugu states.
War 2 will feature a massive face-off between two of Indian cinema’s biggest stars — Hrithik Roshan and NTR. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, who is known for Brahmastra and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, the film promises a grand cinematic experience. It will also be released globally in IMAX format.
With a strong cast, massive scale, and Sithara’s wide release plans, War 2 is all set to create fireworks this Independence Day weekend.
