Natural Star Nani’s upcoming film ‘Shyam Singha Roy’, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The makers today released the motion poster, on the occasion of Saraswathi puja.
Introducing Nani as Vasu, the motion poster featured Nani in two looks. Along with the poster release, the makers also confirmed that Shyam Singha Roy will release in theatres in December.
Set in Kolkata, the film reportedly deals with the theme of reincarnation. The makers have shown two looks of Nani, which are based on the afterlife. Tipped to be a period drama, the film stars Nani, Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty and Madonna Sebastian in lead roles. The film was shot in Hyderabad and Kolkata.
Sharing the motion poster, the Twitter handle of Niharika Entertainment wrote, “‘KALI’ is a ferocious form of ‘DEVI.’ Introducing Vasu from Shyam Singh Roy Happy Dussehra. In theatres this December (sic).”
Shyam Singha Roy also stars Rahul Ravindran, Jisshu Sengupta, Murali Sharma and Abhinav Gomatam in supporting roles. Sanu John Varghese is the cinematographer, while Naveen Nooli is editing the flick. Mickey J Meyer has composed the music.
