Gopichand Malineni initially planned to cast Shruti Hassan opposite Balakrishna in his upcoming action thriller that will be funded by Mythri Movie Makers. However, the actress rejected the offer.
When approached by the makers of Balakrishna-Gopichand Malineni project, Shruti Hassan politely turned down their advancements.
Shruti is bagging opportunities to star alongside the likes of Pawan Kalyan and Prabhas. At this point in time, she doesn’t want to act alongside senior heroes like Balakrishna.
However, it is heard that Shruti had agreed to play an important cameo role in the as-yet-untitled action thriller. She might be joining the sets once the regular shoot commences.
Shruti is currently focused on Prabhas’s Salaar, which resumes shoot a couple of days ago in Hyderabad. She plays an action-clad role in the Pradhanth Neel directorial.
As for Balakrishna-Gopichand Malineni project, the makers are looking for other alternatives for the female lead role in the film.
