In another few hours, Valmiki is all set to hit the theaters across the Telugu states. At this crucial time, the makers received a shock, after knowing that the Collector issued a notice to stop the film’s release in Ananthapur.
Right from the beginning, Valmiki has been involved in some or the other controversy. Now the latest controversy is that the Boya community people in Ananthapur reached out to the Collector. They complained to him that the film is trying to project the poet “Valmiki” as a bad man, while he is known for his enormous knowledge and good principles. They opined that it hurts the sentiments of Hindus and may result into severe disturbances.

Considering the complaint and anticipating that it would result in severe property loss at the theaters, after its release, the Collector has ordered to stop the release in Ananthapur. The buyers are now worried with the Collector’s notice and asked the producers to rescue them.
Even if a single show is missed in the theater, the audiences ask for the refund of money they spent on bookings and even the talk of the film will be out, which is expected to further worsen the product, if its negative. As there are just a few hours left for the release, it seems, impossible to solve the issue and release the film on time.
