YS Sharmila, the daughter of former united Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy, and the sister of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has recently announced that she would be establishing a party of her own in Telangana.
According to the latest reports, the party might be officially announced by the end of April or the first week of May. She initially thought of starting it on July 8th, on the occasion of her father’s birthday, but since that is too far off, she is said to be considering April or May.
Sharmila aims to follow on the lines of Mayawati or Mamata Banerjee, or even Jayalalithaa and is confident about no unnecessary attacks being done on her, as she is a woman. She is reportedly also of the hope that women and youth would navigate towards her party, for which she is making sure that she comes up with innovative and practical plans for those both communities of the society.
The ongoing district-wise Atmeeya Sammelanams will come to an end in April, and the party is very likely to be established on May 14th, the day her father took oath as the Chief Minister, for the first time. Sharmila is also expected to announce her padayatra details immediately after establighin her party. The padayatra will begin from Chevella.
