The behaviour of Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan during a match has become controversial. A match was held between Mohammedan Sporting Club (MSC) and Abahani Limited (AL). Shakib, who is representing MSC, bowled to AL batsman Mushfiqur Rahim. He appealed to the umpire for LB but the umpire declared it not out. Hasan took the three wickets at the non-strike end and threw them on the ground. He outraged over the umpire.
Cricket associations and cricket fans around the world are waiting to see what action the Bangladesh Cricket Board will take on the incident. However, the ban imposed by ICC on Shakib ended recently.
Responding to this, taking to his official Facebook platform, Shakib posted, “I sincerely apologize for behaving like that during the match as I could not control my anger. An experienced player like me should not have like that. Being a human, sometimes it happens. I would like to apologize to the cricket teams, tournament organizers and match supervisors. I will not make similar mistakes again in the future. Thank you.”
