A survey has been conducted by an agency called Atma Sakshi, in Andhra Pradesh, in three phases, in Andhra Pradesh, to gauge the performance of YSRCP and its MLAs and MPs in the state. According to the survey, while the party is said to be performing well in the state, with the levels of satisfaction very high, several MLAs and MPs are said to be in the red zone.
As many as 66, out of 151 MLAs, are said to be in the red zone, with 46 MLAs getting 26 out of 100 marks, 27 MLAs getting anywhere in between 27 to 35 marks, and 8 out of the remaining 22 being said to perform dismally. This survey was conducted from March to September, involving IIT students, with details collected from 68,200 people from 13 districts.
The MLAs who are in the red zone are said to include Anil Yadav, Mekathoti Sucharita, Vellampalli Srinivas, Pushpa Srivani, Sankara Narayana, Gummanuru Jayaram, Thaneti Vanitha, Cherukuwada Sriranganatha Raju, Dharmana Krishna Das, Pinipe Viswaroop and Avanti Srinivas, who are said to have not any grip on their constituencies. While the YSRCP is not performing well, it is being said that the TDP is performing no better, with even Chandrababu Naidu getting as much as only 27% approval rating, meaning that the TDP would have to pull up its socks as well.
