Actor Adivi Sesh, as part of promoting his upcoming film, Major, which is all set to be released on June 3rd, in all major Indian languages, recently held a question and answer session on Twitter, where one user asked the actor’s opinion on being called “Thrilling Star.” The actor’s response to this Tweet is now drawing a lot of attention due to the huge dose of sarcasm embedded in it.
Sesh wrote, “Cutout unnappudu Title avasram Le. CONTENT unnappudu Cutout avasram le. You will understand when you see Major,” very clearly indicating that he doesn’t give a dime about taglines and that they don’t really matter when there’s no content in your film, and when there’s no talent in you. Almost every major actor in Tollywood currently has a tagline, with actors coming from reputed families being given a tagline even before the release of a single film.
Given that Sesh has delivered high-quality films throughout his career and only the best of performances, his statements seem to be justified. However, it is to be seen if any other actor from the industry would respond to these statements. On the other hand, the actor and the team of Major seem to be very confident about the film, here’s wishing them all the best.
