BJP MP Aravind has revealed that his father and TRS leader D Srinivas would soon join BJP. While TRS was anticipated to sweep the Lok Sabha polls in Telangana, surprisingly, BJP won four MP seats, which made the national party pin good hopes on the state.
One among those four MPs is Aravind, who won over Telangana Chief Minister KCR’s daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha in Nizamabad constituency, which is why, he was able to grab all the attention at once.
Though being a TRS leader, D Srinivas lent an internal support to his son, in winning the election. Since Aravind won as an MP from Nizamabad, things became tougher for Srinivas in TRS.

The ruling party of the state ignored him in several situations and even Srinivas is not quite active in the party operations. So with a plan to quit the party, Srinivas recently met Amit Shah with the support of Aravind and in a closed door discussion, the Rajya Sabha MP reportedly assured to join the BJP soon.
D Srinivas served the Congress party in the past, but upon the denial of MLC ticket, he later shifted to the TRS. An experienced leader like Srinivas would surely be an asset to any political party. At a point of time, when BJP is witnessing a slow rise, Srinivas’s entry into the national party is expected to take a mega rise.
