The Supreme Court has issued notices to the Centre, Human rights Commission and various other state governments, including Andhra Pradesh, over the mob attacks and targeted killings.
Earlier, the top court has ordered that a separate law should be enacted to prevent the cases of this sort and even the fast track courts should be formed for the quick justice.
But it seems, none of the governments, took the orders seriously. The apex court received several petitions against the various governments across the country, saying that they are not following its orders and neglecting from taking any action to prevent the mob attacks in the streets.
After the election results in AP, the TDP activists across the state were attacked in large numbers. In fact, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has accused the ruling party leaders of killing several TDP activists and also injuring hundreds of their workers. He also recollected how a woman TDP activist was beaten up in Prakasam district, and how it eventually led to her death.

In the recent years, it is for the first time for AP to find its name in such a national level list. If YSRCP continues to neglect the issue, then it may have to face worse situations in the coming days, as TDP will have a strong point to go against the state government.
