Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan, appealed to the youth to stay away from online betting. He said betting is destroying young lives and pushing many families into financial troubles. In the last few years, several youngsters in Andhra Pradesh have become victims of online betting, leading to loss of lives and money.
Pawan Kalyan welcomed the passing of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, 2025 in the Lok Sabha. He said the Bill is a strong step to stop betting mafias. Any online gaming platform found involved in money-based betting will face strict punishment. This law will protect youth and safeguard their future.
He also said the Bill encourages positive online games that improve mental health and do not harm youngsters. Pawan Kalyan thanked the Union Government for bringing this timely and much-needed law to save youth from betting addiction.
