While China is making sure to put pressure on India in Kashmir issue, Pakistan is trying to gather support from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Interestingly, Pakistan’s attempt to gather support failed utterly and Saudi Arabia which dominates OIC gave a fitting reply by asking Pakistan to repay its 1 billion dollar loan along with taking action on 3.2 billion dollar oil credit facility.
Pakistan initially requested for OIC’s support on Kashmir issue and when none of the countries showed positive response, Pakistan threatened OIC saying that it would split the organization if not given support. Saudi Arabia felt it to be a very rude way of requesting support and the nation has great friendship with India. Considering these aspects, Saudi Arabia decided to give a fitting reply to Pakistan.
57 Countries are part of OIC and Pakistan paid its price to threaten the organization. Stay tuned for more updates.
