Satya and Yogi Babu are joining hands for an upcoming comedy entertainer directed by Pawan Basamsetti, who earlier impressed audiences with Rangabali. The yet-to-be-titled film was launched grandly today at Ramoji Film City, with the makers officially commencing the regular shoot as well.
Produced under the banners Nayavayu Chitralu and Dream Movie Makers, the film marks the first production venture for both banners. Director Pawan Basamsetti is also co-producing the project alongside Nagarjuna Reddy. The launch ceremony was attended by the film’s core team and special guests, creating strong buzz around the project.
The makers describe the film as a full-on entertainer packed with comedy, fun moments, and energetic performances. Known for his humour-driven storytelling, Pawan Basamsetti is reportedly designing unique characters for Satya and Yogi Babu to fully utilise their comic timing and on-screen chemistry. With both actors enjoying a strong fan following for their effortless humour, the film is expected to offer a refreshing laugh-filled experience.
The regular shooting started today with important scenes featuring Satya and Yogi Babu being filmed. Industry circles are already curious about the combination, considering the popularity of both comedians across Telugu and Tamil audiences.
On the technical front, Malayalam cinematographer Bablu Aju has been brought on board to handle the visuals, while Pawan CH is composing the music. Kamesh is taking care of the art direction for the project.
