Recently, former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s friend VK Sasikala was released from jail. Shashikala, who was sentenced to four years in jail in a corruption case, was diagnosed with corona on the 20th of this month. She is being treated at the Victoria Hospital in Bangalore.
Prison officials said the entire process was completed at the hospital following the release of Shashikala from jail.
Despite being released from jail today, it remains to be seen when she will be discharged from the hospital. Doctors said that she had no corona symptoms at the moment.
Shashikala followers are planning to give a huge welcome on the occasion of her release from jail.
It is learned that the team of MLA Dinakaran, head of Amma Makkal Munnetrakalagam, has arranged a thousand vehicles from Parappana Agraharam Jail to Chennai.
