Veera Simha Reddy had a bright start at the box office this Sankranthi season. And so did Waltair Veerayya which released in fewer theaters but held the momentum in the successive days, unlike Veera Simha Reddy which dropped big time.
Waltair Veerayya has collected 43.90 crore theatrical share worldwide in 2 days while Veera Simha Reddy managed to collect Rs 44.50 crores in three days.
Veerayya has collected almost the same amount in two days as compared to Veera Simha Reddy’s 3 days collections. At this rate, Veerayya will clearly zoon past the Balakrishna starrer and leave it in the dust.
The word of mouth is also almost similar for both films but the Chiranjeevi starrer has emerged as the favorite for the Telugu audience this Sankranthi season.
Waltair Veerayya will easily surpass Veear Simha Reddy in the opening weekend and in the second week as well. It is set to emerge as the Sankranthi winner and the box office numbers speak for themselves.
