Super Star Mahesh Babu and Stylish Star Allu Arjun have locked horns for this Sankranthi with the movies Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapuramulo movies respectively.
Both the movies have got positive talk with the latter a bit better. One movie is a pakka mass entertainer and the another one is a pure class entertainer.
Now the collections are reflecting that. However as expected Sarileru Neekevvaru was benefited to large extent by arriving a day earlier. The film has collected a massive share of Rs. 46.77 Crores worldwide with Rs. 32.7 Crores coming from both the Telugu states.
The film has also created all time record in Krishna region. Recently Syeraa Narasimhareddy has created Day 1 all time highest share record in Krishna with Rs. 3.02 Crores share.
Mahesh Babu has crossed that feat on Day 1 with Rs. 3.07 Crores share. Mahesh fans are elated with their hero creating all time record. However their happiness is limited to one day with Ala Vaikunthapuramulo crossing that margin comfortably.
Ala Vaikunthapuramulo Day 1 record in Krishna region is Rs. 3.11 Crores share. It is surprising that Ala Vaikunthapuramulo has achieved this with less number of theaters than Sarileru Neekevvaru on Day 1. Telugu States Day 1 share will be out shortly. Stay tuned.
