In the wake of the high voltage fight between India and Pakistan on the 24th of this month as part of the T20 World Cup, Indian star tennis player Sania Mirza revealed that she plans to disappear from social media on match day.
The ace tennis player said she decided to stay away from social media to avoid the toxic atmosphere during the match. She shared a video message on Instagram saying that fans in both countries would be excited during the fight, so she would disappear from social media that day.
Sania may have taken this decision as fans from both countries trolled her extensively during the previous India-Pakistan matches. It is learned that Sania’s husband Shoaib Malik continues to be a key member of the Pakistan team.
Pakistan, on the other hand, has yet to beat India in a World Cup match. Five matches have been played between India and Pakistan in this mega tournament. Team India is leading with 4-0 while one match was cancelled. Team India will face Pakistan on October 24, New Zealand on October 31 and Afghanistan on November 3.
