Sanchaita Gajapatiraju got a major shock when the High Court of Andhra Pradesh removed her as the Chairperson of the MANSAS and Simhachalam Narasimha Swamy temple trust. The HC reinstated Ashok Gajapatiraju as the Chairperson of these trusts, who was previously removed as the Chairperson, by a GO passed by the AP government.
Sanchaita was based in Delhi before she was brought to Vizianagaram by the YSRCP. The YSRCP has been supporting her and backing her, and was responsible for her being appointed as the Chairperson. While Sanchaita is a part of the BJP, the party never supported her claims to be the Chairperson of the trust, and it was the YSRCP backing her all along.
With Sanchaita, not the Chairperson of the trust anymore, she was expected to leave for Delhi. However, that’s not the case, and sources are saying that Sanchaita is planning to join the YSRCP very soon. Interestingly, the three groups within the YSRCP, in Vizianagaram, are also said to be supportive of Sanchaita’s decision. These groups – one led by Botsa Sattibabu, the second by deputy CM Pushpa Srivani and the third by Kolagatla Veerabhadra Swamy, are said to be very supportive of Sanchaita’s entry into the YSRCP. It is now to be seen what further political developments this will lead to.
