An end has been put to a long line of speculations, rumours and hear-says today, with Naga Chaitanya and Samantha officially announcing their divorce. Taking to social media, both the actors shared that they are separating from each other as husband and wife, to pursue their own goals in life, but that they would remain friends, as that’s the core relationship that they’ve shared for the past 10 years, with each other. They have also requested everyone to respect their choice and give them the much-needed privacy and space they need, during this difficult time.
On the other hand, Samantha posted a story on her Instagram account, before officially announcing her split with Chaitanya. Her story reads “When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it – always”, with the hashtag #MyMommaSaid.
This post has been leading to a lot of speculations on social media, with Sam’s fans arriving at the opinion that this post is meant for Naga Chaitanya. However, there’s no clarity over whom this post is actually for.
