Not so long ago, there were rumors that Samantha was roped in for an important role in Prabhas’s Project K. It was speculated that she would be joining the sets of the Prabhas and Nag Ashwin collaborative project very soon.
However, Samantha refutes these rumors. In a recent interview with a media portal, Samantha said, “I don’t know how these rumors started in the first place. No, I am not a part of Project K. But I would message Nag Ashwin, asking why he didn’t cast me in the film(on a funny note),” she said.
Samantha said she is excited to witness what a group of impeccable talents like Prabhas, Nag Ashwin, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan are cooking up.
Also, Samantha stated that she wishes to take a layoff from acting and will be inactive for the next few months. She wishes to spend some quality time with her family and also rejuvenate herself.
