Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been receiving criticisms from the Bollywood critics, right after he announced Kabir Singh in Hindi. While several critics gave a negative review to the film, it still managed to register as a blockbuster at the box office.
In one of his promotional interviews, Sandeep, who is enjoying the success of his Hindi debut, said that it cannot be called love, when a man is unable to hit his woman, referring to a scene in Kabir Singh.
While the entire Bollywood is severely going against Sandeep for his comments, shockingly, even Samantha from Tollywood went against him.

The Ye Maya Chesave actress said that, she is severely disappointed with his comments. When she was criticized for appreciating Arjun Reddy film in the past, Samantha said, “Liking a film is different. Differing from the comments and opinion of another is different. I liked Arjun Reddy as a story. That doesn’t mean I also like the concept of hitting your partner and love.”
As the entire Tollywood stood silent on Sandeep Reddy’s issue, and now a top actress that too from Akkineni family, has responded to the issue, it should be seen, whether the director dares to go against Samantha, just like how he went against the Bollywood critics.
