South star diva Samantha Ruth Prabhu is leaving no stone unturned to keep herself occupied with back-to-back projects after her separation from actor-husband Naga Chaitanya.
The Rangasthalam actress, who recently joined the cast of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, has now taken her new project onto the floors today. Her upcoming project has been titled “Yashoda” and the regular filming begun today, following a formal pooja ceremony.
As per the information, Samantha will play an author-backed role in Yashoda, which will be helmed by director duo Hari and Harish. Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, who is known for backing films like Aditya 369, Sammohanam, and several others, is producing Yashoda.
Touted to be a multilingual film, it will be released in a total of five Indian languages – Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
The makers of the film are planning to wrap up the entire shooting by March 2022. More details about the cast and crew, and as well as the release date, will be announced in the due course.
