The upcoming pan-Indian action extravaganza, “Salaar,” is currently undergoing reshoots, primarily focused on refining its climax. Director Prashant Neel is striving for complete satisfaction with the finale, prompting these alterations.
Despite the delays, “Salaar” continues to generate immense buzz in the film industry. The combination of the Baahubali hero and the director behind the KGF series has trade circles eagerly anticipating unprecedented box office records.
The film’s distribution rights have been sold for a staggering 36 crore rupees in the USA, marking the second-highest deal after “RRR.” To break even, “Salaar” needs to rake in $10 million in North America, accounting for production and promotion costs.
Additionally, the movie’s satellite and digital rights, including Netflix for Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages, along with audio rights, have collectively fetched a record-breaking 350 crores.
