The Covid-19 pandemic has bought Telugu film industry to a standstill. The chances of movie theaters opening in the foreseeable future are extremely low and as a result, producers are exploring other avenues.
Producers of films that have completed shoot and the ones that are very close to completion are contemplating a direct OTT release.
The latest addition to the list of films that might be releasing directly on OTT platforms is Sai Tej’s ‘Solo Brathuke So Better’.
Apparently, the makers of the Sai Tej starrer are in talks with Zee5 and a deal will be finalized once the OTT platform makes a feasible offer to the producers. The remaining portion will be wrapped up post a two-week schedule which will commence soon and an OTT deal will be stuck soon after that.
Interestingly, even Nani’s ‘V’ is gearing up for a direct OTT release. The film might be out on Amazon Prime Video on September 5th.
Reportedly, Sai Tej’s ‘Solo Brathuke So Better’ might be available for streaming on Zee5 from October. An official announcement will be made in the days to come.
‘Solo Brathuke So Better’ has Subbu at the helm. Nabha Natesh is pairing up with Sai Tej. BVSN Prasad is producing the film.
