Whatever might be the issue between TSRTC and the Telangana government, people all over the Telugu speaking states are witnessing several sad stories of innocent TSRTC employees. This story of Nageshwar (45) from Medhak district will make even the strongest hearts get tears.
Nageshwar used to work as a TSRTC bus conductor in Narayankhed depot. This employee is said to be a nice person by his peers. Due to the ongoing TSRTC strike and the uncertainty of their jobs and income, Nageshwar lost his mind. People around him mentioned that he used to smile for a while saying duty and cry for a while saying dismiss. Seeing his mental condition, his family members admitted him in Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad.
Nageshwar lost his life while undergoing treatment. The pressure his was going through is said to be the reason for his death. Several TSRTC employees encountered death in the recent times due to the financial crisis and the job security. MLA Kranthi Kiran announced 5 lakhs for the family and a double bedroom house as compensation for the loss. Lets hope that this issue gets resolved in an amicable way as soon as possible.
