Saaho, the massive budgeted movie has hit the screens on Friday, amidst of huge expectations among the film lovers. But shockingly, the film couldn’t live up to any such expectations. There has been a severe negative talk on the film, right after the first show.
Going with the talk, the movie was anticipated to end up with the heavy losses. But surprisingly, it is nearing a gross of Rs. 300 crores. Saaho being the only noted Telugu film in the theaters and adding to it, as the weekend and the festival came together, it acted as a massive advantage to Saaho.
But the real mettle of the film will be known from tomorrow. It is obvious that the collections get dropped in the week days when compared to the holidays. But the result of the film can be anticipated by the percentage of drop in the collections.
If it gets dropped by 70 %, Saaho may have to search for the exit gates, by the end of the week. However, as there are no major releases till Gang Leader, which is scheduled for 13th, Saaho is expected to be safe for the next 10 days. As per the official figures, Saaho collected 294 crores in 3 days. The figure would touch 300 by tomorrow.
