Covid-19 vaccination in India is going at a brisk pace with the country administering over 633 million vaccine doses, with at least one dose to 52% of its 944 million adults and two doses to more than 15%.
However, a few people in many areas are still hesitating to get their vaccine in fear of complications after taking the jab. In order to make people take their vaccine shots, the government has been spreading awareness about the importance of vaccination.
Now, an incident took place in Nizamabad district where people rushed to a health centre in the wake of a campaign to stop the ration if the vaccine is not taken. There are some rumours that the government is planning to suspend the ration for people who fail to take the vaccine that will be given at the Navipet Mandal Center.
With this, more than 700 people rushed to the local health centre. They arrived early in the morning and had trouble standing in the queue line. Authorities arranged vaccine doses for 500 people as large numbers of people flocked for the vaccine.
