Balayya’s all three films, which released in 2019 have bombed the box-office. At the start of 2019, Balakrishna delivered two flops in the form of NTR- Kathanayakudu and NTR- Mahanayakudu. Now, his recent offering Ruler also turned out to be a flop at the box office.
With a budget of over Rs 40 crores, the film was released on a 15-crore deficit. According to trade sources, Ruler, which sold 21.5 crores in Andhra-Telangana, will suffer a massive loss of almost 13 crores to distributors.
The main reasons for the film’s flop are said to be due to its regular story and extreme boring screenplay. As a result, the film’s collections are very weak and disappointing.
