Several countries across the world has lower currency than that of Indian currency. That could be the reason for many preferring to work in other countries than in India. For instance, one American dollar is worth Rs.70 in Indian currency.

Here are few other countries, where their currency is some several times lower than Indian currency.

10. Combodia’s Riel

Just like its ‘Rupees’ in India, Combodia’s currency is named as ‘Riel’. India’s Rs.1 is equal to 58 riels in Combodia, which means Rs. 100 in India is equal to 5800 riels in Combodia’s riel currency.

9. Paraguay’s Guarani

Paraguay, which is second poorest country in South America, has ‘Guarani’ as its currency. India’s one rupee is equal to 87 guaranies, which means Rs. 100 in Indian currency is equal to 8700 guaranies.

8. Uzbekisthan’s Som

Currency in Uzbekisthan is called as ‘Som’. One rupee in Indian currency is equal to 120 Soms, which means Rs. 100 in India is equal to 12000 Soms.

7. Laos Lao Kip

Currency of Laos (a country near to China) is Lao Kip. Rs.1 in Indian currency is equal to Rs. 124 Lao Kips.
