RRR is now in contention for the mighty Oscars as the Naatu Naatu song from the film is in the Oscars race in best song – motion picture category.
As the Oscars are set to be held on the 12th of March, those involved with RRR are looking to amp up the promotional campaign.
But strangely enough, the USA distributor of RRR is facing a strange situation as they’re unable to place the ads for RRR.

But Telugu, spoken by over 81 million people, isn’t an “approved language” for ads, so you’ve blocked us from advertising entirely for trying to promote a subtitled clip? Is that correct?” RRR’s USA distributor Variance Films tweeted.
