SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, continues to shatter records at the box office. The big-budget entertainer has collected massive money worldwide and made the entire world look towards the Telugu cinema.
According to Comscore, Rajamouli’s directorial is at No.4 at the WorldWide Box office for the April 1st – 3rd weekend. The movie, which is still running successfully in theatres, collected $112 Million (Rs 850 Crore) globally. The movie is sure to set many other records by the end of its final run at the box office.
For the unversed, RRR was released on March 25. It is based on the lives of Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who fight against the shackles of the British empire in India.
RRR sees Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in extended cameos. The movie also has Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris playing the supporting roles.
