The rivalry between the YSRCP and its rebel MP from Narasapuram, Raghu Ramakrishna Raju seems to be never-ending, with the MP being visited by the AP CID today, at his residence, at around 9 in the morning. The MP is not said to have even opened the door to talk to the CID officers, who are said to have come to his house to serve him notices against the several pending cases that he has.
It is already known that RRR cannot be arrested, according to the orders given by the Supreme Court, following his bail petition in the SC, after he was arrested shortly after he filed the bail cancellation petition against AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Sources say that the CID officials want RRR to appear and depose before the sleuths in connection with the old cases.
On the other hand, RRR recently challenged Jagan with respect to his resignation from the Lok Sabha. Speaking about the by-elections that would come up with his resignation, in Narasapur, RRR said that he was ready to quit active politics in case he loses the by-elections, and dared Jagan to quit as the CM if the YSRCP loses the by-elections. It is now to be seen what will happen.
