The Supreme Court of India is the apex court of the country, which deals with the most elite of cases of the country, and anyone generally approaches the court only when justice is not served to them, or when they feel that the judgment passed by a lower court is not fair to them. However, things have changed a lot after the YSRCP came to power in Andhra Pradesh, with the YSRCP government approaching the SC for everything.
Even though he’s a rebel of his own party, MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju also began seeking the SC for every matter, no matter how small. Recently, he filed a petition in the SC, seeking stay orders on the various excavations and construction in Rishi Konda. Given that the case is still pending in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, the SC instantly dismissed the case.
The HC has given interim orders on the same, and the case hasn’t been wrapped up in the HC yet. Thus, the decision of the SC should come as a major lesson for anyone trying to outsmart the judiciary of the country.
