YSRCP member and Narasapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju continues to make controversial statements against his own party, and on the government as a whole.
In a recent statement, RRR said that the Status Quo given by the High Court of Andhra Pradesh on the Gazette Notification issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh is the first victory for the farmers of Amaravati. Thousands of Amaravati farmers gave away thousands of acres for the development of Amaravati into a formidable capital for Andhra Pradesh.
During its campaign, the YSRCP said that it would make sure that Amaravati is developed into a competent capital, but the tables turned after YSRCP came to power. When CM Jagan proposed the 3 Capital bill, there was a sense of chaos everywhere, and there still is.
The farmers of Amaravati felt even more vulnerable and betrayed when the governor of AP approved the CRDA Repeal bill and the 3 Capital Bill. Following that, the High Court issued Status Quo on the Gazette Notification, putting a stop to the 3 Capital monstrosity, till August 14th for now.
RRR has also said that every woman farmer in Andhra Pradesh should file personal cases against the government, on the basis of Betrayal of Trust. He also said that while police stations and police personnel might not accept these petitions, they will still go through in the High Court, as cases against the 3 Capital bill are currently going on. He also added that this would help the farmers of Amaravati.
RRR also said that the High Court is the only institution that can serve justice to the farmers of Amaravati, and he also said that he completely trusts the High Court to do the right thing.
