YSRCP member and Narasapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju has not been on good terms with his party members for a really long time now. The MP has never agreed to any of the decisions that the YSRCP has taken for the state, and has even vocally spoken against his party on several occasions, and still continues to do so.
Recently, it came to light that RRR had skipped paying huge amounts of loans to banks, and is currently indebted by Rs. 826.17 Crores to Punjab National Bank. When the consortium of Punjab National Bank had filed a complaint against RRR, an FIR has been registered by the CBI in the same case.
Now, in yet another blow to RRR, he has been removed from his post as the Parliamentary Standing Committee Chairman, and in his place, YSRCP MP Balasouri has been appointed as the Subordinate Legislature Standing Committee Chairman. A few days ago, the Lok Sabha had officially announced that whatever changes take place in the posts will be effective from October 9th itself.
Many allegations are being made against RRR ever since AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy visited Delhi and met with the Prime Minister of India. RRR had openly denied all the reports which said that he is indebted to banks by thousands of crores, and he even denied the reports of CBI raids taking place at his Hyderabad residence.
Given that RRR has openly criticised Jagan’s government, it is now to be seen what more developments will take place against RRR, and how many more cases he will be a part of.
