Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra: Part 1, which hit screens earlier this year, received a thunderous response from the audience. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the movie also featured Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Nagarjuna in key roles.
After getting a good reception for the first part, the makers have begun working on the second part of the three-film series. It is heard that the team approached Hrithik Roshan and Yash to play the other lead roles. However, they said to have denied the offer.
Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that Vijay Deverakonda is said to be under consideration for one of the key roles in the movie. Producer Karan Johar, who shared a good rapport with the Rowdy star, is evincing interest in Vijay as per reports. However, there is no official word on this update yet.
On the other side, Vijay faced a dud at the box office with ‘Liger’, directed by Puri Jagannadh.
