YSRCP MLA Roja, who had to face some bitter experiences in assembly in the past, is now utilizing the opportunity to go against the opposition leaders.
Roja earlier worked for TDP, but couldn’t enter into the assembly due to internal politics in the party. She later aimed to join Congress party, under the leadership of the then Chief Minister YS Rajashekar Reddy, but stepped into YSRCP and walked along with Jagan and his party for long.
Roja contested as an MLA from Nagari and won in the constituency in 2014 for the first time and repeated the victory even in the recent elections. She is now the ruling party MLA and adding to it, Roja was also appointed as a chairperson of APIIC recently. So she is now leaving no opportunity to go against the TDP leaders.
She severely went against Kinjarapu Atchennaidu for allegedly torturing her earlier and also attacked TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu alleging that he tried to stop her from speaking about call money racket in the past.
The actress turned politician also alleged that Naidu did not respect Kiran Kumar Reddy, who was the speaker in YSR’s regime and also repeating the same with the new speaker Tammineni Seetharam.
In TDP’s regime, when Kodela Siva Prasad Rao was the speaker, Roja had to face a suspension from the assembly, for allegedly using cuss words against the TDP leaders. Referring to it, Roja said that several such insults she faced in TDP’s regime, led to a massive debacle of the party in the elections.
Roja is identified as a firebrand leader several times earlier. She left no opportunity in busting TDP. While Jagan itself, stays back commenting on a few of the issues, a leader like Roja in YSRCP, will surely to fetch big to the party, by troubling the oppositions.
