TDP managed to pull off a surprising victory in the MLC elections today as the party candidate Panchumarthi Anuradha won the polls in the MLA-polled elections today.
It is essentially identified that two of YCP MLAs voted for the TDP candidate against the party whipe today.
The two MLAs could be Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy and Undavalli Sridevi. The same is to be officially confirmed and this is just a report that is circulated by the Telugu TV media now.
YCP is still identifying the two MLAs who voted for TDP, it seems. It is heard that TDP had the support of 21 MLAs who were on their side and they could gather the support of 2 of YCP MLAs who picked their side in the last minute.
Now YCP is set to take stern action against the MLAs who acted against the party’s whip in the MLC elections.
