A few days ago, Keesara MRO Nagaraju was caught redhanded by the ACB, while receiving a total of Rs. 1 Crore 10 Lakhs in a land settlement deal. As the investigations continue to go ahead, and new developments are being made in the case, new names are surfacing in this scam.
The latest name to be heard is that of Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy’s. Not just that, a realtor named Kandhati Anji Reddy had also been caught along with MRO Nagaraju. Upon thorough searching of Anju Reddy’s house, documents belonging to Revanth Reddy’s lands and other documents that are supposed to be in a collector’s office were found in Anji Reddy’s possession.
Kandhati Anji Reddy is not just a realtor, he is also a member of the Congress party and worked for Revanth Reddy during his campaign for Makajgiri MP post. Before that, Anji Reddy was a part of TDP and worked for Mallareddy during the 2014 elections. Last year, Anji Reddy decided to work for Revanth Reddy despite requests from his son-in-law, Rajasekhar Reddy, to work for him as part of the TRS party.
The most noteworthy aspect of this case is that no one informed the ACB about the corruption that was going on in the MRO’s office, and no prior information had also been leaked. It is now being believed that the ACB had personally started to spy Nagaraju.
After Nagaraju, the ACB started to spy Anji Reddy and have searched the houses of both Nagaraju and Anji Redddy. As stated earlier, it was during these searches in Anji Reddy’s house that Revanth Reddy’s iname came to light. The ACB has now reportedly started to concentrate on Revanth Reddy, and the case is expected to take new twists and turns in the coming days.
